How to Use the Instant Quoting Tool

Quick Start

Upload your STEP file, select material/finish, enter quantity, add notes if needed, and submit. For best results, don’t model threads—select holes to be tapped in the widget and call out threads on your print. Account creation is required to receive your quote.

  1. Prepare Your Files: We recommend uploading STEP files for the best results and most accurate quoting. Other file types are also accepted.
  2. Upload Your Parts: Use the widget to upload your files. Multi-part uploads are supported—add all the parts you want quoted in a single session.
  3. Select Material & Finish: Choose from the available options in the dropdown menus. If you need a special material or finish not listed, select "Other" and describe your requirements in the notes field.
  4. Specify Quantities: Enter the quantity for each part. Volume pricing is automatically calculated.
  5. Add Notes & Special Instructions: Use the notes field to specify any critical requirements, such as special tolerances, surface finishes, or other requests.
    Best Practice: If you need threads, do not model them in your CAD file. Select the hole features to be tapped in the widget and call out thread details on your print if you provide one.
  6. Review & Submit: Double-check your selections and uploaded files. When ready, submit your quote request.
  7. Create an Account & Enter Customer Info: You’ll be prompted to create an account and enter your contact information. This is required to receive your quote and manage your orders.
  8. Get Your Quote: You’ll receive instant pricing for standard options. For custom requests, our team will review your submission and follow up promptly.
Your files are secure and confidential. We never share your designs with third parties unless it's necessary to complete a specific production or finishing operation.

What Happens Next?

  • For standard options, you’ll receive instant pricing and can proceed to order.
  • For custom requests or special requirements, our team will review your submission and follow up with a tailored quote or questions.
  • You’ll receive email updates and can manage your quotes/orders in your account dashboard.
